CDC Downgrades Warning to Mexico
Effective May 15, 2009, the CDC has downgraded it's warning against travel to Mexico, which had recommended that U.S. travelers avoid all unnecessary travel to Mexico. They note that while the warning has been downgraded, travelers to Mexico should still be careful and take the precautions to protect themselves against the virus. This action by the CDC is based on their report that though the number of cases has grown, the severity of those infected has been, on average, mild. For more details, visit http://www.cdc.gov.
