Attractions in Seoul

Among the most notable structures in Seoul are the palaces. Visitors can explore most of these at their leisure, and many have English tours at various times throughout the day. For those that require a tour, there are several tours daily and no reservation is required-just show up at the start time of the tour (times are listed visibly at the palaces). Several of the palaces also have museums on their grounds, including the Folk Museum, National Museum of Korea and Art Museum. Of course no visit to Seoul would be complete without a ride to the top of the Seoul Tower. The tower sits at the top of the hill at the south side of the city and gives visitors a great bird's eye view of Seoul. Walk or take the cable car up to the top of the hill. From there, take the elevator to the observatory. The tower also offers several restaurants and gift shops, including on of the top-rated Korean Restaurants in Seoul.
