Paris has no shortage of things to see and do. Is famous sites alone can fill up a day or two. Among the most obvious are the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumph, the Louvre, and Notre Dame. While these are touristy, they are truly amazing to see up close in person and definitely worth a visit and some photos. En route to the Arc de Triumph stroll down the Champs Elysees, Paris' famed shopping street and a tourist attraction in its own right.
Orsay and Pompidou museums - the Orsay is dedicated to impressionism and the Pompidou to modern art. Both are highlights for art lovers.
Luxembourg Palace and Gardens - beautiful gardens, sculptures, grounds where you can observe Parisians reading, visiting and kids playing.
Tuileries - the beautiful grounds leading up to the Louvre which are filled with fountains and unique sculptures.
Place de Concorde - one of the most famous squares in Paris, it's most famous for it's central obelisk and fountain. Several buildings in the U.S., including Philadelphia's Mint and Boarse buildings, have been modeled after buildings in this square.
The stained glass in Printemps department store - odd as it sounds this truly is a unique site that many visitors seek out. The stained glass over the top of the restaurant on the top floor of the store is quite remarkable and equally as famous.
