Some of the most popular day trips from Paris include the Palace of Versailles, Monet's former home and inspiring gardens at Giverny, the Loire Valley and its Castles, the Champagne Region and Normandy Beaches. Tours depart from Paris daily to each of these destinations and many can reached quickly by rail. For longer excursions, take the Chunnel to London or Brussels for the day. The ride to London is approximately an hour and a half and to Brussels only one hour and twenty minutes.
