To See & Do
Positano does not have any "must see" attractions. In fact, if you do nothing at all other than enjoy some limoncello (or strawberry cello!), take a stroll on the beach, and wander through the local shops you will have done plenty. If you still need a little adrenaline rush during your down time, rent a scooter and drive along the towns of the Amalfi Coast - they are relatively close together and you can visit several of the villages within an hour or so. Take plenty of time to experience the regional food during your visit here. It's location on the shoreline is strongly reflected in the menus, which are abundant in seafood, locally grown produce (citris fruits are particularly amazing here) and regional wines which have a distinct flavor that is tough to find throughout the rest of Italy.
