Tortuguero National Park - Tortuguero is the prime place to witness turtle nesting, and its network of lagoons and canals are ideal for nature cruises. Monteverde's Cloud Forest - This rainforest is home to over 100 species of mammals, 400 species of birds and 1500 species of plants. It also creates fantastic surroundings for zipline and canopy tours, which are quite popular in Monteverde. Corcovado National Park - the most ecologically diverse park in Costa Rica, it is ideal for a wide variety of activities including camping, horseback riding, canopy tours, snorkeling and kayaking. The park's beaches are also notable.
